Nancy worked for many years as an Art Representative, representing the work of many illustrators and photographers, and contributes her knowledge of  the art market to the educational process. She has dealt with art buyers, magazine editors and marketing agencies.  She has guided fine artists and researched art galleries.

Together, Nancy and Jan-Willem offer a wealth of creative approaches to provide the perfect art vacation  within a relaxed and informal atmosphere.  They aim for up to 8-10 guests unless the tutor agrees to take on more.   Non-painting partners are welcome and are invited to discover the town, hike the regional trails, go kayaking , visit the local shops or just linger on the grounds – the price for a non-participating partner includes their lodging and all meals provided for the course.

Attending a session at The Shenandoah Art Destination will enable you to feel pampered and stress free so you can concentrate on your art, while they concentrate on the details.
